The Our Best Words Marketing Writing module will teach you how to write websites and presentations, brochures and flyers, press releases, and advertising campaigns. Learn about search engine optimization, keywords, and other tools that Google offers for marketing businesses online.
The Social Media Marketing module prepares you to write diverse types of marketing copy and content for the most widely used social media platforms. Both modules include practical projects that you can use as the basis of your portfolio and present to potential employees and clients as proof of real-world experience.
The Website Building course will teach you how to build a website using Wix and WordPress, including how to customize its design and functionality without programming or coding, plus overviews of WooCommerce and Shopify. The course consists of three lessons delivered in prerecorded video format with homework assignments for you to do independently at your own pace. 1-1 meetings with the instructors help mentor students through the course, provide feedback and answer any questions.
We recommend that you also join the Career Development course, comprising 4 classes to prepare you for the world of work, including how to present your CV and portfolio, looking for jobs and networking on LinkedIn, interview tips and presentation skills. Our instructors also advise those who you wish to work as freelancers how to set up and run their business and look for clients.

Marcom Foundations Course
The Marcom Foundations course starts with an explanation of the marketing funnel that is intrinsic to all digital marketing campaigns. It explains the principles of inbound and outbound digital marketing and teaches you how to write all types of marketing collateral. This includes marketing copy writing and content writing for websites and blogs, email campaigns, landing pages, and press releases. You will also learn about writing white papers and case studies, brochures, and PowerPoint presentations. You will learn how to play by Google’s rules and use their tools to promote any brand or organization.
The Social Media Marketing module applies the same marketing principles to social media campaigns across all platforms. You will learn how to build an online presence and market any brand on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Using free promotional techniques, you can create and implement an engaging social media calendar across all platforms. You will also learn how to run advertising campaigns to generate sales leads and understand the campaign metrics. Finally, you will learn how to use social media skills to protect your brand or organization in a crisis.
Together with the Marcom Writing and Social Media Marketing courses, we recommend the Website Building course, which will equip you to update most company websites, and the Career Development course to help you to find and apply for in-house positions.

Course Length and Organization: The combined Marcom Foundations course is composed of 7 classes with a homework assignment for each class that you can use to build your personal portfolio. Since classes are prerecorded, students work through the program at their pace, submitting homework assignments to the instructors who they meet periodically to discuss their work, give feedback and answer any questions.
