Our Best Words is the only school in Israel teaching elementary and advanced technical and marketing writing courses and technical skills, with live teaching delivered online. Study safely in the comfort of your own home to acquire new skills for the 2021 post-COVID job market.

General Requirements

• mother-tongue level English
• use of a good quality computer with a high-speed internet connection
• up-to-date licensed software on your computer
• for TechComm courses—a Windows machine with Microsoft Office
• for MarCom courses—you should be an active user of Facebook and other social media platforms.

Technical Requirements

All candidates for our courses in TechComm Foundations are required to take two Prerequisite Courses, or to pass a test to show their aptitude in Technology Basics and/or Microsoft Word Basics. These prerequisite courses total 10 academic hours over 2 weeks and they are provided free of charge to students who register and pay for one or more of our Foundations courses.

Technology Basics (6 academic hours)

This course is mandatory for the TechComm Foundations Course. This is an afternoon workshop, 6 academic hours.

Microsoft Word Basics

This course is mandatory for the TechComm Foundations Course. It is taught over two sessions, totaling 4 academic hours.

Our Best Words Course Details

• Sign up to take any of our technical or marketing writing courses individually or combine several modules (such as our Foundations of Technical and Marketing Communication course) and pay a discounted rate.
• All registered students are entitled to return to Our Best Words to retake the same courses to update their skills at no extra charge.
• All sessions take place live and online in the evening (Israel time) and are always recorded for on-demand playback. Most classes last for 1 to 2 hours.
• All applicants are required to send their resume and pass a screening interview and skills test before being accepted to any course module.

Applying for Government Funding & Scholarships

If you are a recent Oleh/Olah, or unemployed and over age 50, you may also qualify for government funding toward covering the cost of our comprehensive Foundations of Technical and Marketing Communication course, depending on your circumstances. Every application for funding is considered on its own merits and may involve preconditions set by the funding agency.
