Ephraim King MA, Course Director and Technical Communication Lecturer

Ephraim King With over two decades of hands-on experience in information development, Frank Ephraim King (also known as FE or Effie) brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership to the program. Since 1996, he has led documentation teams and managed complex projects across a wide range of sectors including semiconductors, telecommunications, IT, civil and military aviation, medical technologies, cloud computing, and most recently, global giants like Meta and Google. FE is not only a seasoned technical communicator but also a passionate educator. He has spent years training new technical writers in the hi-tech world, using real-world insights, practical tipcs, and memorable anecdotes from his career to bring lessons to life. FE holds a Master’s degree from the University of Florida and is actively involved in community initiatives.

Deborah Meidan, B. Ed & BA, Marketing & Social Media Lecturer

With over 18 years of hands-on experience in marketing communications and strategy, Deborah Meidan brings a dynamic and practical perspective to the world of B2B marketing. She has led marketing efforts for a wide range of global Israeli companies across industries such as Agritech, Proptech, Watertech, Hitech and Medical Device sectors.

Deborah’s career spans the full spectrum of marketing – from content creation to strategy planning – across both digital and traditional platforms. This well-rounded expertise shapes her energetic and holistic approach to consulting and training, where she equips professionals with the tools they need to communicate effectively and grow their brands. She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and Literature from York University in Toronto, Canada, blending creativity with clarity in every lesson she delivers.

Richard Hoch, PhD, Skillset Instructor (Word)

Dr. Richard Hoch has been a technical writer since 1999, with a career that spans startups to Fortune 500 companies. Richard is currently a Senior Technical Writer at Red Hat, leading a team of four writersa for the company’s Migration and Modernization Solutions program. In addition to his writing, he provides continuous team training on documentation best practices and GIT version control, blending deep technical knowledge with practical instruction.

Earlier in his career, Richard training customers and employees at SigValue Technologies on its innovative “billing network in a box” software before the company’s acquisition by Amdocs.

Before making Aliyah, Richard was an instructor at several respected institutions in California, including US Stanta Barbara, California State University Northridge, and the University of Judaism (now American Jewish University). His background in academia and industry makes him a skilled communicator and a dedicated mentor to aspiring writers.

Nadine Wildmann MBA, Website Building Lecturer and Webmaster

Nadine WildmannNadine Wildmann is a seasoned international marketing professional with extensive experience across project management, branding, website development, social media strategy, and online fundraising. She is the founder of Meeple Communications, where she specializes in WordPress website design, development, and personalized training.

Nadine’s career spans both Israel and the United States. In Jerusalem, she held key marketing roles at organizations including the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem, the Pardes Institute, Versaware Technologies, The Learning Company and Accent Software. Her U.S. experience includes working with top-tier companies such as Bozell Worldwide, Chiat/Day, D’Arcy Worldwide, Chrysler Imports, Continental Airlines, Canon Computers, Lorimar Television, McDonalds, and B’nei Akiva.

Nadine holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management from Arizona State University and a BA in Mass Media Communications from UCLA. Nadine brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise to her teaching, helping learners build effective digital presences with confidence.

Daniel Feldman MSc, Project and Training Manager

Daniel FeldmanDaniel Feldman, based in New York, has been developing and delivering training programs for 25 years. He specializes in full project development, including analyzing business training needs, designing manuals and technical materials, delivering classroom and on-line courses, and providing post-training assessment and support. He is a certified MS Office Master Trainer and a certified Oracle SQL Programmer. He earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from Polytechnic University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Brooklyn College.

Daniel has written extensively and taught courses in business ethics and in enhancing learning performance.

Perry Smith BSc, Director of Intellectual Property Strategy and Project Consultant

Perry brings over 35 years’ experience in embedded processor and IoT applications, including managing of interdisciplinary hardware, software, and security teams. Combining this with his over 5 years’ experience as Vice President of Intellectual Property Strategy for Cisco Israel (aka NDS/Synamedia), BSc in Physics from SUNY at Albany and his MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickenson University allows Perry to analyze problems from a multi-disciplinary viewpoint.

Steven Leichman, MBA—Senior Technical Writer, Cyber Security Specialist

Steve Leichman has almost 40 years of experience in the IT industry. He started as a custom business systems programmer and later became the IT manager for companies in the US and in Israel. He has extensive experience in many diverse industries such as mortgage servicing, real estate management, footwear, and much more. The last 6 years, Steve has been the technical communicator for several Israeli startups. This includes developing both technical documentation and marketing material.

Judith Linder, Office Manager & Marketing Coordinator

Judith has a BA in Economics and an MBA in Marketing and International Business- both from NYU. She has years of experience in administrative and marketing positions in business, sales and academia. She worked in coordinating sales distributors and banking at a food manufacturer; communications and coordination between staff and students at an academic college, and in sales support in the international division at a software company. She is fluent in English and Hebrew. Judith coordinates our training program and handles marketing and social media activities for internal and customer-facing projects.
