Our Best Words is not content with offering excellent training courses by expert instructors. All of our training courses are constantly updated to include the latest skills that the market requires, and we keep our finger on the pulse of the job market to ensure that we stay in step with the constantly evolving needs of Israel’s hi-tech sector.
Our team has enormous collective experience of the employment market in Israel and the international digital marketing scene, and share their connections and opportunities generously with our students. During our courses, we involve the students in real-world projects that can form part of their portfolios when they apply for jobs or pitch potential clients.
Career Development Course – commencing October 2024
As part of our Combined TechComm and MarCom Foundations Course, we provide training in important soft skills that will help you to find and secure well-paid work as a communications professional. This includes how to write impressive CVs, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles, how to develop your professional portfolio, interview, job test and presentation techniques, and how to set up and run your business as a freelance writer.
This course is available as a stand-alone course to anyone and everyone who is interested in working in Technical Communications and Marketing!
The course comprises 11 sessions and 32 academic hours taught by Deborah Meidan & Other Faculty
Course cost: 2,400 NIS
If you are ready to take a step up the career ladder, this course will prepare you for the world of work, in Israel or anywhere in the world. These workshops will show you how to present your CV and your LinkedIn profile, where to look for jobs and how to network on LinkedIn, how to build a portfolio to show your experience, and how to project your best self at interview. Four of the units have practical follow-up sessions (Labs) where you can implement what you have learned in the workshop. There is also a workshop on how to set up and run a freelance business (in Israel) and where to look for clients.

Deborah has a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from York University in Toronto, Canada. With over 18 years of experience in marketing communications, content marketing and strategy for a wide range of global B2B Israeli companies operating in Agritech, Proptech, Watertech, Hitech and Medical Device sectors.
The evolution of Deborah’s career as a marketing professional with an educational background has allowed her to gain a deep understanding across digital and traditional platforms of communications which she leverages in her consulting and training to provide a lively, holistic and practical approach to marketing and career development.
