Our Best Words provides introductory training courses in English in Microsoft Word and basic Computer & Technology Skills. These courses can be taken online as live webinar sessions by anyone who is interested, and they are also mandatory for students signed up to take our Foundation Courses in TechComm and MarCom (unless they test out of the requirements).

Technology Basics

This one-day workshop is given as a live webinar, typically on a Sunday from 1:00pm – 7:00pm.

Topics:                                                                                                                             

• Hardware and Software: Overview of computer basics (high-level parts, software)              
• OS Basics: Best practices for Windows; folders, settings, etc.              
• Learning to be Tech-Savvy: Becoming a self-sufficient learner for new technology concepts.

Course fee: 450 ILS / $145* 

Microsoft Word Styles & Templates

This course is taught over two sessions on consecutive Sundays from 5:30pm – 7:00pm (Israel time).

Session 1:  Overview and Introduction to Styles

Session 2:  Styles and Introduction to Templates

Course fee: 300 ILS / $95* 

*For students signed up for Our Best Words’ Comprehensive and Foundation courses in MarCom and TechComm, tuition fees for these prerequisite courses are credited to the larger courses.
